Lesson 1: Journaling
Updated: Aug 26, 2019
The best thing about journaling is that it is a simple wellness tool with great impact! Whether you are creative or not, it works. It's mobile and can be done just about anywhere! I have even had students journal in my live classes while riding in the car!
Scientists have discovered that journaling can create higher levels of positive wellness, so why don't we take this skill for a spin! Remember that every lesson will include journaling, but it is a great way to start this journey off fresh.

Gather Your Materials
What you might want to grab:
Markers
Colored Pencils
A pen or pencil
Crayons
Typewriter
Laptop
Ipad
Phone
Paper
Spiral notebook
Art notebook
What you need:
Something to write with
Something to write on
As you can see, the level of creativity is up to you. Some days I grab a handful of my daughter's colorful markers, other days it's just a pencil and paper sort of day.
Lesson 1: Journal Prompt
1 - What am I most grateful for today? Consider asking yourself why and add that to your journal as well.
*If you prefer to draw what you are grateful for, go for it!
It is suggested to continue journaling at least 2-3 times per week. You can ask yourself this prompt and get different, meaningful journal expressions every single time. It truly is amazing.
